Hickory Hill will repair or replace, at our option,
any part of a Hickory Hill brand upholstery product found to be
defective within the specified warranty period. To obtain service,
the consumer must return the product to the furniture dealer from whom
they purchased along with a proof of purchase and date. All
packing and transportation charges for delivery to the retailer are the
responsibility of the original purchaser. Problems that are severe
can often be handled easily by the retailer and will not require a
return authorization to the factory. In no event shall
Hickory Hill Furniture Corporation be liable for consequential or
incidental damages. Hickory HIll's liability will never
exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement. In some
states, the consumer may have additional rights beyond what is mentioned
in this printed warranty. Hickory Hill reserves the right to
discontinue or change parts, models, and products, or make substitutions.
If the original purchaser chooses to alter the initial construction by
modifying the frame, repairing or reupholstering the fabric, replacing the
seating foam with another product, or in any way attempts to correct a
defect or damage issue without pre-authorization, the warranty on Hickory Hill® upholstery products will automatically
become null and void.
Frame - 10 Years
We warrant the frame construction on all Hickory Hill™ pieces for a period of 10
years against defects in the frame or frame components, provided the
furniture has received normal use and care. Coverage does not
apply to frames exposed to improper humidity levels, excessive heat, or
extreme temperature variances.
Cushion Cores and Mattress - 5 Years
The cushioning material in each Hickory Hill™ brand piece are the primary source of the
comfort you will receive. The softening of polyurethane foams
normal and should not be considered a defect in materials or
workmanship. It is considered normal for filling materials to
soften and conform to the shape of the users. We warrant cushion
cores against defects for a period of 5 years, 1 year for the back and 5
years for mattresses.
Spring Construction - 5 Years
Hickory Hill will repair or replace without charge, at our
option, any defects in the spring system of a Hickory Hill™ brand upholstery product during the first
5 years of ownership under conditions of normal use and care.
Mechanical Parts - 1 Year
Hickory Hill will warranty all the mechanical parts of the
upholstery product, including sleeper mechanisms, for a period of one
year under conditions of normal use and care.
Upholstery Fabrics - 1 Year
Hickory Hill warrants all upholstery fabrics against
defective material and seam slippage under conditions of normal use and
prescribed cleaning for one year from the consumer date of purchase.
This warranty does not cover fading, piling, shrinkage or other damage
caused by heavy soiling or non-recommended cleaning methods. Any
damages such as degradation of fabric fibers and backings due to the
application of after-market protectants or moisture repellants are not
covered by this limited warranty. Due to the dying variations from
fabric suppliers, we do not guarantee dye lot matches unless products
are purchased simultaneously. Every attempt will be made to secure
a dye lot match when warranty repairs are necessary. To keep a new
purchase in peak condition, we suggest a light vacuuming with clean
utensils and turning cushions over on a weekly basis.
Flammability Regulations
All Hickory Hill™ upholstery products support UFAC for the production of safer
furniture. Our merchandise complies with their regulations and
information tags are attached to all pieces. However, we do not
make merchandise to conform to individual state or agency flammability
regulations where they may be in effect for public seating areas.
We do not offer special test information of this type on our furniture
nor can we change our individual component materials to conform to local
standards of this type.
